We are working with a respected and well-established Chester firm seeking an NQ Private Client Solicitor to join their growing and highly regarded Private Client department. This is a standout opportunity for a newly qualified solicitor who is passionate about private client work and looking to develop their career in a supportive, friendly and reputable firm with a strong local and regional presence.
In this role, you will manage a varied and rewarding caseload, advising individuals and families on matters including wills, probate, trusts, estate planning, and LPAs. You’ll be supported by experienced Partners and senior lawyers who are committed to mentoring and developing junior talent, giving you the perfect environment to grow your expertise and confidence from day one.
Key Responsibilities

Handling a varied caseload of wills, probate, estate planning and trust matters

Providing clear, empathetic and practical advice to clients

Building long-term client relationships within the local community

Drafting key private client documentation and managing files efficiently

Supporting senior lawyers on complex estate and tax planning matters

Actively contributing to the firm’s continued success and excellent reputation
About You

NQ Solicitor with a seat in Private Client or strong interest in the area

Excellent communication skills and a client-first approach

Compassionate, detailed and organised with strong drafting abilities

Keen to develop technically and progress within a quality-driven team

STEP qualification or interest in pursuing it is highly advantageous
