About the Role
In this modern environment, you’ll enjoy all the advantages of working within this boutique setting, where you’ll be given more responsibility and cover a superb variety of tasks day to day. Working closely and in collaboration with the Paralegal team, you will play a pivotal part in seamlessly supporting fee earners.
An overview of responsibilities
- Docketing incoming correspondence
- Ensuring the accurate and efficient management of case files
- Updating and maintaining records and diary deadlines
- Preparing and filing official correspondence and GB, EP and PCT applications
- Monitoring deadlines and ensuring timely case management
- Liaising with clients, external associates, and internal team members
- Working with the Accounts team to process disbursements and fees
- Assisting colleagues, suppliers and clients with records-related enquiries
About you
Ideally but not essentially, you’ll have at least a few years of experience working in a similar IP setting and hold the CIPA qualification along with the following skillset:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong communication skills with staff, clients and suppliers
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to meet deadlines consistently
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new procedures
- Ability to assess and prioritise correspondence effectively
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Capable of working independently and taking initiative
