Patent Secretary | Hampshire | Hybrid working
Overview
We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a Patent Secretary to join a long established and thriving IP practice. This is a fantastic role for an organised and proactive individual looking to develop their career within a professional and supportive intellectual property environment.
The Role
Working alongside a friendly and collaborative team, you will provide high-quality secretarial and administrative support to busy fee earners. This is a varied and fast-paced position where attention to detail and strong organisational skills are key.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and issuing invoices
- Drafting correspondence and legal documents
- Liaising with clients, agents, and internal teams
- Maintaining and updating internal records and databases (including Inprotech)
- Supporting bespoke client requirements, including use of client portals and document management systems
- Managing multiple deadlines and priorities effectively
About You
- Minimum 12 months’ secretarial experience within a similar environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn new systems and processes
- Experience with invoicing and/or Inprotech is advantageous
