A well-established and progressive Midlands law firm is continuing to grow its Private Client team and is now looking to recruit a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join its Derby office.

The team works collaboratively with other specialist practice areas to deliver high-quality, joined-up advice to a broad and loyal client base. The Role
You will handle a varied Private Client caseload, including:

Drafting Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney

Advising on and administering estates

Working with trusts, including asset preservation and care fee planning

Dealing with Inheritance Tax matters as part of estate administration
About You

Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive

Ideally 2–4 years’ PQE within Private Client (flexible for the right candidate)

Experience drafting Wills and LPAs and dealing with estates
-
Understanding of trusts and asset preservation

Strong communication skills and an organised, proactive approach
