The successful candidate will take on a key leadership role within the Private Client department, managing a team of solicitors and support staff, while also taking responsibility for fee earning, client development, and business growth. This role offers the flexibility of hybrid working and flexible hours, accommodating an ambitious professional looking to make a significant impact in the private client and high-net-worth (HNW) sector. You will be involved in managing complex matters including Inheritance Tax planning, estate administration, and providing bespoke advice tailored to HNW individuals, with a focus on developing and nurturing client relationships and networking to expand the firm's profile. The firm encourages a collaborative environment where self-motivation and proactive engagement are essential to success, alongside contributing to the community aspects of the business.

  • Proven experience in private client law, ideally at partner level or with demonstrable readiness to step into a partnership role
  • Strong background in HNW estate planning, IHT, and estate administration
  • Experience in managing and leading a team of solicitors and support staff
  • Exceptional client-facing skills with an emphasis on networking and business development
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team, with a self-motivated approach
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence in advising high-net-worth clients
  • Competency with case management software such as Proclaim
  • Willingness to contribute to the community and internal team initiatives
