A respected and growing regional law firm located in Accrington is looking for a talented Private Client Solicitor to join their well-respected team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated solicitor who enjoys building meaningful relationships with clients and helping individuals and families plan for the future.
Working within a collaborative and supportive team, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality advice across a broad range of private client matters while contributing to the continued growth of a forward-thinking legal practice.
The Role
As a Private Client Solicitor, you will manage your own varied caseload while supporting clients through important life decisions with clarity, empathy, and expertise.
Your work will include:
- Advising clients on wills, estate planning, and inheritance matters
- Drafting simple and complex wills, including trust arrangements
- Handling probate applications and estate administration
- Preparing and advising on Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Supporting clients with inheritance tax planning and succession planning
- Managing files from initial instruction through to completion
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Supporting business development and networking opportunities
You may also travel between offices and occasionally meet clients in their homes to provide a more personal service.
About You
We’re looking for someone who combines technical excellence with a genuine commitment to client care.
You will ideally have:
- 4+ years PQE in Wills, Probate, or Private Client law
- Strong knowledge of estate administration, wills, and trusts
- Excellent communication and client-care skills
- The ability to manage a varied caseload independently
- A proactive and collaborative approach
- A passion for delivering compassionate legal advice in sensitive situations
- Confidence in client meetings
Additional qualifications such as STEP membership would be advantageous but are not essential as the firm does provide supported studies on the STEP qualification, should you want to take this step in your development.
