This is an excellent opportunity for a junior to mid-level Private Client Lawyer to develop their career within a respected firm, handling high-quality work within a supportive and collaborative environment.
The Role
- Managing a varied caseload of private client matters with appropriate supervision depending on experience
- Advising clients on wills, probate, and estate administration
- Handling Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection matters
- Providing inheritance tax and estate planning advice
- Drafting wills, trusts, and related legal documentation
- Supporting senior colleagues on more complex and high-value matters
- Providing clear, practical, and empathetic legal advice
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships

Key Responsibilities
- Managing a private client caseload appropriate to your level of experience
- Assisting with more complex estate planning and administration matters
- Drafting wills, trusts, and powers of attorney
- Advising clients on inheritance tax and estate planning
- Maintaining high standards of client care and communication
- Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Maintaining accurate file management and records
- Meeting deadlines and contributing to team performance
About You
The ideal candidate will be organised, client-focused, and eager to develop their career. You will have:
- Qualified Solicitor with 1–5 years’ PQE in Private Client work
- Experience in wills, probate, and estate administration
- Strong interest in private client law and estate planning
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- A compassionate and professional approach when dealing with clients
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple matters
