Professional Indemnity Solicitor - Leeds
We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Professional Indemnity Solicitor to join a leading international legal practice based in Leeds.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload of professional negligence claims involving various professionals, providing strategic advice to clients, and handling both pre-action and litigated matters.
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with major insurance clients, fostering meaningful client relationships, and delivering bespoke solutions in a dynamic team environment. The role also involves supervising junior fee earners, engaging with experts and counsel, and applying your expertise in alternative dispute resolution, including mediation. Requirements
- Professional indemnity experience with at least 5+ years PQE
- Strong relationship management and client handling skills
- Experience managing a busy caseload independently
- Proven ability to handle complex professional negligence claims
- Knowledge of pre-action procedures, litigation, and alternative dispute resolution methods such as mediation
- Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach to work
- Adaptability to new initiatives and continuous improvement
- Willingness to support and mentor junior team members
