The Opportunity

A leading regional law firm is seeking an ambitious Property Litigation Solicitor (2–5 years’ PQE) to join its respected Dispute Resolution team in Birmingham.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a Legal 500 recognised practice, advising a diverse client base on a wide range of property disputes across both the commercial and residential sectors. The successful candidate will be joining a collaborative and supportive team known for its high-quality work, pragmatic advice, and strong client relationships.

You’ll have the opportunity to manage your own caseload, contribute to business development, and play an active role in the continued success of the team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Advising and acting for clients on contentious landlord and tenant matters, including lease renewals, dilapidations, rent arrears, and forfeiture.

  • Handling property disputes such as boundary issues, rights of way, and covenants.

  • Managing claims under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act (TOLATA).

  • Advising on professional negligence claims involving property matters.

  • Supporting colleagues on wider commercial litigation matters where required.

  • Engaging in advocacy where appropriate and maintaining high standards of client care.

  • Contributing to business development and supporting the team’s continued growth in Birmingham.


About You

  • Qualified Solicitor with 2–5 years’ PQE in property litigation or broader dispute resolution work.

  • Strong technical skills and sound understanding of landlord and tenant law.

  • Confident communicator with excellent client management and negotiation abilities.

  • Proactive, organised, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

  • Committed to delivering outstanding service and achieving the best outcomes for clients.
