The Opportunity

A leading national law firm is seeking a talented Commercial Property Litigation Solicitor (NQ–2 years’ PQE) to join its expanding team in Birmingham.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a specialist practice handling a broad range of property disputes for major commercial clients. The role offers a mix of contentious and advisory work, with exposure to high-value matters and the chance to gain experience in court proceedings, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution.

You’ll be joining a supportive, close-knit team that values collaboration, technical excellence, and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and assisting with a range of commercial property disputes, from landlord and tenant issues to development-related claims.
  • Supporting senior lawyers on complex and high-value litigation and arbitration matters.
  • Handling your own caseload of lower-value disputes under supervision.
  • Advising clients on strategy and risk across all stages of proceedings.
  • Participating in mediation and other alternative dispute resolution processes.
  • Contributing to business development activities, seminars, and client training.

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor (NQ–2 years’ PQE) with experience in property or commercial litigation.
  • Strong understanding of litigation processes and the Civil Procedure Rules.
  • Excellent communication, drafting, and analytical skills.
  • Proactive and client-focused, with a commercial mindset.
  • Keen to develop expertise in complex property disputes within a supportive team environment.
