A reputable and forward-thinking law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join their busy, Preston based office. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong technical skills and leadership ability to take ownership of a diverse property caseload, manage junior support staff, and play a key role in client service delivery.

 About the Role

You will be responsible for managing a full spectrum of residential conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion and registration. This includes freehold, leasehold, shared ownership, new build, unregistered, and limited company transactions.

Your focus will be on maintaining high-quality service standards, achieving financial targets, and leading with a client-centric approach.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and progress your own varied conveyancing caseload.
  • Prepare comprehensive contract reports and manage all legal aspects of property transactions.
  • Supervise and develop assistant staff to support successful case progression.
  • Ensure compliance with internal protocols, professional regulations, and quality standards.
  • Maintain strong professional relationships with clients, agents, lenders, and other third parties.
  • Delegate key tasks including drafting reports, issuing contracts, preparing searches and statements.
  • Monitor and enhance the quality of client service within your team.

About You

The successful candidate for this Residential Conveyancer role will ideally have 2 years previous experience within this area of law, is looking to embed themselves in a close-knit team and has fantastic client care and organisational skills.
