The Opportunity

An established regional law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer to join its busy Birmingham office.

This is an excellent opportunity for a conveyancing professional with at least three years’ experience of independently managing a full residential caseload. The successful candidate will handle a varied range of property transactions within a supportive and collaborative environment that values client care and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of residential property matters from instruction through to completion.
  • Handle sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, and new build transactions.
  • Liaise effectively with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors.
  • Draft and review contracts, title documentation, and completion statements.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate file management and time recording.
  • Provide an efficient, client-focused service with strong communication throughout each transaction.

Candidate Profile

  • Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Legal Executive with a minimum of 3 years’ conveyancing experience.
  • Proven ability to independently manage a full caseload.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Strong technical knowledge of residential property law and conveyancing procedures.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to providing a high standard of client service.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.

What’s on Offer

  • Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
  • Contract: Full-time, office-based position.
