A well-established, law firm based in the busy market town of Belper, Derbyshire is seeking a Residential Property Conveyancer to join its growing Property department.

The Role
You will manage an active residential conveyancing caseload while supporting colleagues and contributing to the ongoing development of the Property team. Progression opportunities are available for those looking to take the next step in their career.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently managing conveyancing matters from initial quote through to post-completion registration
- Handling a varied caseload including sales, purchases, re-mortgages and transfers of equity, as well as shared ownership, leasehold, new-build and unregistered properties
- Providing clients with clear, practical advice on legal documentation throughout the conveyancing process
- Communicating professionally with clients, solicitors, lenders, estate agents and other third parties
- Assisting with the supervision and development of the department
About You
- Solicitors, Chartered Legal Executives, Licensed Conveyancers of those ‘qualified by experience’ are urged to apply
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing a full conveyancing caseload
- Able to work independently in a busy environment without compromising quality
- Professional, approachable and client-focused with excellent interpersonal skills
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage tight deadlines
- A proactive team player with a self-motivated approach
