A well-established and award-winning UK law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Legal Assistant to join its busy Residential Property / Conveyancing department.

This opportunity is ideal for a legal assistant with strong residential conveyancing experience who is looking to progress their career within a supportive, growing firm known for high standards of client care and professional development.

You will play a key role in supporting the Head of Department and wider conveyancing team, helping to deliver a consistent, efficient and high-quality service to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Post-completion work including HMLR registrations and requisitions

  • Preparing and submitting Stamp Duty Land Tax returns

  • Liaising with estate agents, lenders and clients

  • Requesting redemption statements

  • Assisting with preparation of sale contract packs

  • Supporting client reporting and documentation for signature

  • Submitting property searches

  • Assisting with lender panel compliance

  • Maintaining excellent attention to detail

  • Providing professional telephone and client communication

  • Managing workload efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Residential Legal Assistant or Conveyancing Assistant

  • Strong understanding of residential property transactions

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

  • High level of accuracy and client-focused approach
