A well-established and award-winning UK law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Legal Assistant to join its busy Residential Property / Conveyancing department.
This opportunity is ideal for a legal assistant with strong residential conveyancing experience who is looking to progress their career within a supportive, growing firm known for high standards of client care and professional development.
You will play a key role in supporting the Head of Department and wider conveyancing team, helping to deliver a consistent, efficient and high-quality service to clients.
Key Responsibilities

Post-completion work including HMLR registrations and requisitions

Preparing and submitting Stamp Duty Land Tax returns

Liaising with estate agents, lenders and clients

Requesting redemption statements

Assisting with preparation of sale contract packs

Supporting client reporting and documentation for signature

Submitting property searches

Assisting with lender panel compliance

Maintaining excellent attention to detail

Providing professional telephone and client communication

Managing workload efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Requirements

Previous experience as a Residential Legal Assistant or Conveyancing Assistant

Strong understanding of residential property transactions

Excellent organisational and communication skills
