Sacco Mann is once again working with an international specialist insurer which has its UK claims team in the heart of Leeds. A part of a Fortune 500 corporation, we have seen (and assisted) the team grow and, as a result of another internal promotion, there now exists a brand-new role for a solicitor to compliment this highly regarded and friendly team.
The Role
The claims department aims to be the market leader in the provision of an efficient, cost effective, creative and professional service to their brokers and clients. Striving to be pro-active and flexible in management of claims whilst maintaining integrity, the claims team works with the underwriting team in order to facilitate close communication and exchange of ideas, and is an integral part of the product and customer service delivered to their clients.
Day to day, you’ll take full responsibility and accountability for your workload of claims covering varied classes of business but with a focus on Professional Indemnity, Employers Liability, Public Liability and Management Liability claims.
This is a primarily an office-based role and will require the successful candidate to be based in the prestigious offices in Leeds city centre.
The Person
Specific level of PQE is secondary as there is so much more to the role, but you’ll have demonstrable organisation skills and must be able to prioritise work, have good time management skills and be able to work to deadlines to see claims through to final settlement in a proactive manner.
The successful candidate will need to have a detailed knowledge of policy wordings and their application for Professional Indemnity, Employers’ Liability, Public Liability and Management Liability claims across all classes of business in addition to a working knowledge of all UK Retail wordings.
