The Opportunity
A respected regional full-service law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Property Lawyer to help develop and lead its conveyancing offering in the Black Country.
The firm already has a strong reputation in conveyancing across its other offices and now wishes to build on that success by appointing a capable and ambitious lawyer to establish and grow the service locally.
This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor, legal executive or licensed conveyancer looking to take the next step in their career — combining hands-on conveyancing work with genuine scope for leadership and business development.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, re-mortgages and transfers of equity.
- Acting as the lead lawyer for the Black Country office, with responsibility for growing and developing the local conveyancing team.
- Building strong relationships with clients, agents, lenders and referrers.
- Playing an active role in business development, helping to expand the department’s reach and client base.
- Ensuring all transactions are handled efficiently, with the highest levels of service and compliance.
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members as the department grows.
About You
- Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer with solid experience in residential property law.
- Strong technical skills across all aspects of conveyancing.
- Confident communicator with the ability to develop trusted client relationships.
- Commercially aware and enthusiastic about business development.
- Ambitious and motivated to build and lead a team over time.
- A collaborative approach with a genuine interest in contributing to the firm’s long-term success.
