A leading international defendant law firm has an exciting opportunity for an Associate to join their Serious and Catastrophic Injury team, based in their Manchester office on a hybrid basis. In this role, you will work on high-value, multi-track defendant personal injury cases, contributing to a dynamic, forward-thinking team that partners with major insurers, claims handlers, and self-insured corporates.
This is a chance to handle complex litigation while collaborating on some of the most significant and challenging personal injury cases in the UK.
As a Serious and Catastrophic Injury Lawyer, you will:
- Support and manage high-value personal injury claims, including those involving injuries of the utmost severity.
- Assist experienced partners and senior lawyers on complex cases.
- Liaise with clients and experts, helping drive cases forward efficiently.
- Draft legal documents, prepare evidence, and contribute to litigation strategies.
- Engage with the team in delivering innovative legal solutions and exceptional client service.
The ideal candidate:
- 3+ years’ experience in defendant personal injury litigation.
- Strong background in handling complex EL/PL or motor liability cases.
- Experience working on large loss matters in a team environment.
- Confident communicator with experience engaging directly with clients.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to prioritise effectively.
