Our client is a highly rated firm based in Manchester who are looking for an experienced Solicitor to take the lead on high-value personal injury and clinical negligence cases. This is an excellent opportunity to handle serious and catastrophic injury claims, including brain, spinal, amputation, and complex medical negligence cases within a growing legal practice.
As a Serious Injury and Clinical Negligence Solicitor, you will:
- Manage a caseload of serious and catastrophic injury claims (EL/PL, RTA, Clinical Negligence) from inception to settlement or trial.
- Analyse complex medical and legal issues to determine liability and quantum.
- Draft pleadings, witness statements, part 35 questions, and schedules of loss.
- Secure early interim payments and ensure rehabilitation is fast and effective. 7
- Collaborate closely with medical experts, case managers, counsel, and other specialists.
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide clear legal strategy, manage expectations, and maintain trust.
- Maximise billings while delivering outstanding client care.
- Support and coach junior colleagues; contribute to firm-wide knowledge sharing.

- Recent experience of handling multi-track personal injury and clinical negligence cases.
- A solid track record of meeting billing targets and delivering excellent results.
- Strong communication and client-care skills, confident in dealing with vulnerable clients.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to manage files profitably.
