A well-established, full-service firm known for tackling complex challenges and achieving exceptional outcomes for clients, is seeking a skilled Serious Injury Solicitor to join their specialist claimant team in Manchester. You will support individuals and families following severe and life-altering injuries. The work focuses heavily on early rehabilitation, long-term support, and helping clients rebuild their lives with dignity and confidence.
As a Serious Injury Solicitor, you will:
- Draft key legal documents such as Schedules of Loss, Disclosure Lists, Witness Statements, Instructions to Experts and Counsel, and Costs Estimates.
- Attend court hearings, both in person and remotely.
- Act as a first point of contact for clients, their families, and associated professionals.
- Support the progression and management of complex, sensitive claims.
- Manage your own caseload of lower-value multi-track files.
- Receive ongoing supervision, mentoring and development support to build a long-term career in catastrophic injury.
What we’re looking for:
- A qualified Solicitor with 2-4 years’ PQE.
- Experience assisting on or running complex personal injury claims.
- Strong knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules and relevant protocols.
- Excellent technical and analytical ability.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A confident, empathetic, and personable approach.
- The ability to manage clients who may present challenging behaviours.
- A collaborative mindset and confidence working within a close-knit team.
