We are partnering with a respected commercial law firm in Liverpool seeking a Debt Recovery Lawyer (2+ PQE) to join their established finance litigation and recoveries team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a forward-thinking practice with a strong national reputation for commercial recoveries and financial litigation.
You will run a varied caseload from instruction through to enforcement, working closely with banks, lenders, financial institutions and commercial clients. Alongside high-quality contentious work, you will play a key role in client relationships, business development and mentoring junior team members as the department continues to grow.
This is an ideal role for an ambitious lawyer who enjoys fast-paced litigation, values strong client contact and wants to progress within a supportive and collaborative Liverpool practice.
Key Responsibilities

Managing a busy caseload of debt recovery and finance litigation matters

Handling matters from pre-action stage through to enforcement

Drafting pleadings, applications, witness statements and negotiation documents

Engaging with key commercial clients and financial services institutions

Supporting BD initiatives and nurturing client relationships

Mentoring and supporting junior fee earners within the team
About You
-
Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with 2+ PQE in debt recovery or finance litigation

Proven experience managing recoveries matters end-to-end

Strong advocacy, drafting and case management skills

Excellent communication and client-handling capability

Proactive, commercially minded and confident working in a dynamic team environment
