Job Role
As a Senior Associate in the Birmingham Pensions team, you’ll handle a varied and high-quality caseload advising corporates, trustees, and public bodies on DB and DC schemes. You'll also contribute to strategic projects such as risk transfers and scheme restructuring.
Key Responsibilities
• Providing tailored legal advice on occupational pension schemes
• Managing complex and day-to-day pensions matters independently
• Drafting detailed legal documentation and supporting project delivery
• Supervising junior team members and contributing to their development
• Collaborating with national colleagues to provide seamless client service
Job Requirements
• Qualified solicitor with 5+ years’ PQE in pensions law
• Strong technical skills and commercial awareness
• Excellent communication, drafting, and problem-solving abilities
• Team-oriented with a proactive, self-starting approach
• Passionate about mentoring and knowledge sharing
