As a Property Litigation Fee Earner, you will:
- Manage a varied caseload including leasehold disputes, boundary issues, adverse possession, Section 20 processes, s25 and s26 notices, and dilapidations matters.
- Draft and respond to proceedings across the County Court, High Court, and First Tier Property Tribunal.
- Provide clear written and verbal legal advice.
- Carry out site visits with experts.
- Liaise with clients, opponents, courts/tribunals, and third parties.
- Support colleagues across the department and contribute to wider strategic goals.
- Supervise, train, mentor, and delegate work to Paralegals.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory frameworks.
- Monitor your own financial performance and meet profitability targets.
- Contribute to innovation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
- Support inter-departmental collaboration and contribute to business planning.
- Build strong client relationships and assist with business development.
Who we are looking for:
- Qualified Legal Executive with Litigation Practice Rights, 2-3 years PQE.
- Experience within a property litigation team.
- Proven experience managing litigation processes, including s25/s26 notices, dilapidations, Section 20 procedures, leasehold disputes, adverse possession, Land Registry portal use, and boundary disputes.
- Strong client-care skills and adherence to professional standards.
- Ability to independently manage a caseload, meet deadlines, and achieve fee targets.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and communication skills.
- Strong commercial awareness.
