Our client, a well-established and highly regarded law firm based in Chester, is looking for a talented professional to lead their Residential Conveyancing department.
This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a senior leadership role within a firm that values quality over quantity. You’ll manage a close-knit team of three fee earners and two support staff, oversee a manageable caseload, and work closely with trusted introducers and estate agents to continue driving the department’s success.
The Role

Lead and motivate the Residential Conveyancing team, fostering a positive and high-performing culture

Oversee the management of files, ensuring top-tier client service and compliance with SRA regulations

Build and maintain relationships with local estate agents and referrers

Identify opportunities for business development and process improvement

Provide mentorship and guidance to the team, supporting professional growth and handling any performance concerns constructively
About You

Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive (CILEx), or Licensed Conveyancer with solid experience in Residential Property

Previous experience managing or supervising a team within a conveyancing environment

Strong relationship-building skills and a proactive approach to business development

Excellent understanding of SRA compliance and client care
