A well-established and highly regarded Manchester law firm is seeking a Data Protection Litigation Solicitor to join its growing disputes team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with a strong interest in data protection and privacy-related litigation to work on a varied and high-quality caseload within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
The Role
The successful candidate will handle a range of contentious data protection matters, including:
- Data breach and misuse of private information claims
- Claims arising under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018
- Group actions and complex, high-value litigation
- Advising clients on litigation risk, strategy, and compliance issues linked to disputes
You will work closely with experienced litigators and have the opportunity to develop expertise in a fast-evolving area of law.
The Ideal Candidate
- 2+ PQE within Data Protection law
- Previous Litigation experience
- Strong technical ability and attention to detail
- Confident communicator with a commercial and pragmatic approach
- Ability to manage cases independently while contributing to a collaborative team
