The Role
There now exists a brand new opportunity for a UK qualified commercial solicitor to join the group and compliment the legal team, working in a varied and interesting role.
Reporting to the Head of Legal, day to day you’ll be a prominent point of contact for the various divisions of the group, reviewing, drafting and negotiating in respect of commercial contracts and agreements from both supplier and customer perspectives. You’ll also have the opportunity to be involved in compliance, governance and company secretarial duties for all the group’s companies.
The Person
This is fantastic opportunity for someone making their first move In-house, or equally someone looking to take a more hands on and visible role where you’ll be given autonomy and responsibility.
You’ll need demonstrable commerciality, pragmatism and clear/effective communication skills, but above all be a positive and solutions orientated lawyer. This is a friendly and employee conscious organisation, so you’ll naturally be an approachable lawyer with 3-6yrs PQE in commercial law – Exposure to DP, IP or Real Estate would be especially useful.
The Benefits
This is a flexible employer which operates core hours of 10-3, though you must be able to work from their prestigious Liverpool city-centred offices x4 days a week. There is a comprehensive salary of up to £75k along with the following benefits.
