A top insurance firm is seeking a Liability Lawyer to join their property risk and coverage team in Bolton. You’ll work on impactful cases, enjoy real autonomy, and gain exposure to top-tier insurer clients.
You will work on an exciting mix of defended liability claims, covering everything from fire and flood damage to nuisance claims, trespass, and more. Your caseload will include:
- Drafting court documents and managing litigation.
- Conducting investigations and working closely with experts and counsel.
- Negotiating settlements, preparing for trials, and handling advocacy.
- Advising major insurer clients on liability, quantum, and litigation strategy.
What you will need:
- Previous litigation experience.
- A strong understanding of property insurance or liability claims.
- Excellent legal drafting, research, and analytical skills.
- A degree in Law (postgraduate preferred).
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
- Experience with subrogated or property damage claims.
- Familiarity with breach of contract and negligence issues.
- Case management system expertise and a keen eye for profitability.
