An established law firm is seeking a Conveyancing Assistant to join its Residential Property team based in Chesterfield. This opportunity would suit someone with 1 to 2 years experience within this sector.
The Role
You will support fee earners and play an integral part in the smooth running of residential property matters, including; handling estate agent calls, providing general updates to clients by phone and email, setting matters up for completion and attending to exchanges and completions, managing the day-to-day running of sale files, remortgages and transfers/assents (with supervision where required), assisting fee earners on purchase files as required, taking new enquiries and more.
About You
Ideally you will have 1 to 2 years plus of experience within Conveyancing and have worked as a legal assistant or secretary. You must be highly organised with strong attention to detail, a confident communicator with a professional telephone manner, and comfortable working in a busy, team-based environment.
